Access & Conduct

  • Accessibility: Everyone is welcome. Our store and restroom are ADA accessible from the front entrance. Please let a member of staff know if we can assist you or help make your visit more comfortable.

  • Parking: Store parking is available in the lot on the east side of the building. There is additional street parking in the surrounding neighborhood. Please do not park on the asphalt directly in front of the building, you will be asked to move.

  • Kids: Please supervise children when they are handling our products — yarn tangles easily!

  • Animals: Due to food & beverage service regulations, animals aren’t allowed inside (ADA service animals are welcome). Well-behaved pets on leash are welcome on the back patio, but please keep in mind we do have faux grass turf. If your furry friend relieves themselves on it, they will be uninvited back.

  • Be kind: No harassment, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind.

  • We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave for unsafe or disruptive behavior.

Using Our Space

  • Our seating, Wi-Fi, and power are here for you to enjoy while you work on your projects. You’re welcome to bring your own yarn, and if you ever want to explore new options, we’re delighted to help you find something you’ll love from our selection.

  • If you’re simply here using a computer and we start to get full, we may kindly ask you to relocate so we can make room for guests using the space for its intended purpose: fiber arts and creative connection.

  • Scrappy Hour Fridays (6–9pm): Seating is reserved for Scrappy Hour ticket holders. You are welcome to come in and make purchases during this event, but if you want to hang out to sip and stitch, you’ll need a drop in ticket. Scrappy Hour drop-in is $10, which includes $5 off your first drink.

  • Photos and videos are welcome—just be mindful of other guests’ comfort.

Returns & Exchanges

  • General Policy: We will refund an item with receipt within 90 days if it is unused and in original packaging.

  • Wound Yarn: Eligible for store credit only (we’ll weigh it to confirm completeness).

  • Needles & Hooks: Must be returned within 7 days.

  • No Returns On: Books, patterns, magazines, gift cards, non-stock special orders, consignment or any sale/clearance items.

  • Damaged, used, or altered items cannot be returned.

Food & Drink

  • Outside food and drinks aren’t allowed (water is fine).

  • Keep café drinks on tables when browsing yarn to avoid spills.

Thank you for your help in making our LYS a wonderful place to be!
