After our soft opening back in August and weeks of preview and pop-up hours, we’re finally ready to celebrate our full launch: coffee bar, yarn shop, and all! Our café is now fully up and running, and we can’t wait for you to come try our drinks brewed with artisan espresso from local St. Pete roasters Look Alive Coffee.
We’re officially cutting the yarn! Join us at 10 AM for our Yarn Cutting Ceremony, featuring a special cameo appearance and a few words from the very unofficial President of St. Pete himself.
Then spend the day with us sipping, stitching, and celebrating our neighborhood’s creative heart.
All-Day Festivities Include:
Live music by Folked Up, St. Pete’s favorite comedy folk duo
Cursed caricatures by local artist Liam Neff: take home your own delightfully weird portrait
Tarot readings by Laura Martinez with a special Yarn Tarot Deck
Signature drinks including the Yarnold Palmer & Sock Monkey
Raffle with fiber-filled prizes
Limited-edition Grand Opening merch
Snap a photo with our new mural by Jujmo, featuring flowers, sheep, and rainbows
Browse our curated yarns and notions
Relax in our shaded picnic area or explore the Pinellas Trail and Warehouse Arts District
Whether you’re a knitter, crocheter, maker, or just coffee-curious, we’d love to welcome you into The Common Thread: your new favorite neighborhood café and creative home base.
Good fibes only.
