Beginner Embroidery Class: Make Hand-Stitched Valentines!

$30.00

Two-Hour Workshop | All materials included (create 3 cards!)

Sunday, 2/8 | 2:30-4pm

Celebrate Valentine’s season with needle, thread, and a little creative magic in this relaxed, beginner-friendly embroidery workshop. Over the course of two hours, you’ll learn simple stitching techniques while creating modern, stitched heart designs on colorful cardstock—perfect for gifting, displaying, or sharing some handmade love.

This workshop is designed especially for beginners and curious creatives. We’ll guide you step by step through working with embroidery floss, outlining shapes, and using thread to build eye-catching geometric patterns. No prior sewing or embroidery experience is needed, just bring yourself and a willingness to try something new.

You’ll leave with at least three mini works of heART 🩷 and the confidence to keep stitching on your own.

You’ll learn:

  • How to outline shapes using different thread weights

  • Foundational embroidery stitches, including running stitch and backstitch

  • Creating geometric patterns and designs with thread

  • Tips for neatly finishing your piece for gifting or display

All materials are provided. This workshop is perfect for a creative date, a solo self-care afternoon, or a fun GALentine’s outing.

At the end of the workshop, you’re welcome to take your Valentines home—or, if you’d like, you can leave them with us to be donated to The Cupid Project, delivering handmade Valentines to local seniors in assisted living.

Come stitch, relax, and spread a little love. 💘
