11/8: Poses & Purling - Yoga & Mindful Crafting Hour

$20.00

All-Levels Yoga Flow + Optional Crafting Social
Led by Joyce of Breathe With Joyce

Take a little time to reconnect with your body, your creativity, and your community! Join us at The Common Thread Yarn Shop & Café for a special gathering that combines intentional movement, mindfulness, and the joy of making things with our hands.

Led by Joyce of Breathe With Joyce, we'll begin with a grounding, empowering yoga flow designed to welcome everyone, from first-time yogis to seasoned practitioners. Along the way, Joyce will introduce us to Mudras, the practice of using hand gestures to channel energy and intention, and explore the connection between our hands, our creativity, and our well-being.

After yoga, you're invited to stick around for an optional crafting social! Bring your knitting, crochet, embroidery, needlepoint, or whatever you're working on, and enjoy some relaxed creative time with fellow makers. It's a chance to slow down, connect, and enjoy the simple pleasure of making something in good company.

No yoga or crafting experience necessary. Come as you are, move at your own pace, and stay as long as you'd like!

☕ Our café will be open, serving coffee, tea, and locally baked treats to enjoy before or after class.

What to Bring

  • A yoga mat

  • Water bottle

  • Optional: a towel or blanket for comfort

  • Your current craft project (if staying for the social!)

About the Instructor

Joyce is an experienced yoga instructor (E-RYT 200) and founder of Breathe With Joyce, LLC, where she brings together yoga, meditation, education, and creative arts. With a background in Behavioral Healthcare and experience developing adaptive movement programs for neurodivergent students, Joyce approaches movement with compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for the mind-body connection.

Her teaching blends mindfulness, anatomy, and creativity to create welcoming spaces where everyone can explore movement in their own way.

Come for the movement, stay for the making, and leave feeling a little more connected to yourself and your creative community. ✨
