$45 • All materials included
Stitch something sweet for the season! Join us for a cozy, beginner-friendly embroidery workshop where you’ll create a charming holiday ornament featuring a classic paw-print outline, festive botanical details, and your pet’s name.
Whether you're honoring a beloved furry friend or making a thoughtful gift for someone special, this project is simple, soothing, and full of heart.
In this workshop, you’ll learn:
How to outline shapes using different thread weights
Foundational embroidery stitches: backstitch, whip stitch, French knots, and more
How to add winter greenery, berries, and decorative accents
Tips for neatly finishing your piece inside a wooden hoop, ready to hang on the tree or gift with love
No experience necessary, just bring your pet’s name and your holiday spirit. We’ll provide everything else!
About Your Instructor
Carolyn Kospender studied at the Tyler School of Art, where she earned her BFA in Fibers with a focus on Art Education. A joyful skill-sharing geek at heart, Carolyn has spent over 20 years teaching in schools, museums, and DIY studios across Tampa Bay. She’s also the artist behind Thread and Paw, where she’s been hand-stitching custom pet portraits and toys since 2013. She currently lives with her two rescue pups, Minerva and Roxanne — who may or may not love her as much as they love their heating pads.
